Meet The

Hosts

Jessica, Jessenia, Chelsea, and Tania came together in the most unexpected yet divine way. When Tania’s original camping plans changed, she sent a message in the Brujas of Brooklyn meditation chat, inviting anyone interested to join her for a weekend at a spot where the ocean meets the forest. Jessica, her sister Jessenia, and Chelsea all answered the call. They gathered at Tania’s house and set off on a 13 hour drive together. That weekend sparked a deep, intimate bond and held space for all of them in ways they didn’t know they needed. Three years and three camping trips later, they’re still close friends, each connection just as special as that first gathering. Their friendship has been a container for them to witness one another as they’ve found their voices and gifts.

Tania

Tania Maduro is a passionate, grounded queer soul from Southeastern Connecticut, with roots from Venezuela. A student of relational culture, intimacy, and spirituality, Tania channels her passion into guiding women toward self-discovery, connection, and a life filled with love. As an inspiring intimacy coach, holistic life advocate, and founder of Wanderlust Sisters, Tania creates experiences that foster deep, meaningful relationships, connecting individuals with each other and with nature, all while challenging the culture of individualism. Through events and retreats, she cultivates spaces where vulnerability, healing, and joy coexist, encouraging women to reconnect with their essence and build supportive communities. Tania honors the wisdom of her ancestors and the strength of sisterhood, empowering others to rediscover love for themselves and each other while reviving the power of communal bonds.

Jessica

Jessica Paulino is a queer femme Taíno woman from both Boston, MA, and Kiskeya (Dominican Republic), dedicated to reclaiming her indigenous roots and honoring ancestral spiritual traditions. As a mother, doula, yoga instructor, sound healer, cacao medicine practitioner, and facilitator, she focuses her work on decolonizing birth and sacred circle practices. Her offerings center on creating spaces that nurture love, healing, and grief. By incorporating cacao, known as the “food of the Gods,” she facilitates deeper connections to the heart and voice. She prides herself in creating brave spaces of vulnerability as a vessel for healing. Jessica honors the wisdom of her ancestors and Indigenous teachers, fostering a deep relationship with Atabey (Mother Earth) and communal well-being, while guiding others to reconnect with their bodies in sacred spaces.

Jessenia

Jessenia Paulino is a proud Taíno from the Dominican Republic, deeply rooted in honoring her indigenous heritage. A mother of two, daughter, sister, aunty, an artist, a *Tekina* (songkeeper), and a dedicated steward of Atabey, Mother Earth. Jessenia is committed to reconnecting with her Taíno lineage, learning, remembering, and sharing sacred prayers and songs that nourish the soul and foster healing.

Through Creating Con Amor (With Love), Jessenia offers transformative workshops to help others “connect to their own heartbeat.” These workshops invite participants to tap into the wisdom of ancestral prayers and sacred songs, which provide emotional and spiritual support in areas such as anxiety, depression, addiction, and grief allowing you to feel a deep grounding connection, creativity, and release.

Chelsea

Chelsea is a Dominican/Puerto Rican sacred artist, yoga and breath-work instructor, workshop facilitator, healer and cacao ceremonialist based in Massachusetts. Her offerings provide intentional experiences for individuals to tap into their bodies, explore their experienced sensations and collectively practice self-regulation through connecting various modalities including movement, breath work, meditation, cacao and stillness. Chelsea’s hope is to create spaces for community members to connect with their bodies, build self-care and regulation techniques, and practice taking up space as a collective. Chelsea holds space for healing through creating, resting, movement, play and embodiment as forms of resistance. During this retreat experience, Chelsea will offer movement, gentle hands-on support, aromatherapy, reflective meditation activities and a cacao embodiment experience.
